DINER WEBSITE: http://www.deluxestationdiner.com/
A new diner has opened in the 1887 Boston & Albany station at 70 Union Street in Newton Center MA. Their website has a short video showing the building before they were done with the rehab, but they also show some drawings of the decor that was planned. Thankfully, it appears they chose a late 1800's style. The tracks now carry the MBTA's Green Line.

Lots of Snow = Plow Trains
So far this year New England has seen a lot of snow. And for the first time since I started railfanning, there have been quite a few plow trains around. And my rotten luck has meant that I have missed all of them.
To my knowledge, there has been at least one MBTA plow train with one diesel and two plows, a Pan Am plow train out of Nashua NH, and the East Deerfield plow has come east long the Fitchburg. Today, that same plow is heading up into Maine (reportedly with heavy police presence).
And I have managed to miss every one of them.
Perhaps you have had better luck!
