Enfield MA Depot... Now Under the Quabbin Reservior
This is a photograph of the Enfield MA depot. Enfield was served by the Springfield, Athol & North Eastern, which later became a branch of the Boston & Albany railroad. Trains stopped in 1935, and the official end of the Swift River Valley towns to be flooded was April 28, 1938.
